Hingham Civic Music Theatre has been entertaining audiences since 1948 and serving as an outlet for the wonderfully talented people who have graced our stage.
Our purpose is to bring live musical theatre to the South Shore and surrounding communities at affordable prices, to provide a venue for local thespians to learn, practice, and display their skills, and a learning experience in all aspects of theatre.

Please note: All cast members are required to become members of HCMT and this form, along with your membership fee, is due within the first few weeks of rehearsal.
Scholarships are available for qualifying graduating high school students who have shown a passion for and dedication to local theatre.

Directing and Designing
We encourage directors, designers, and choreographers to apply for positions by sending us a resume and letter explaining your vision for our production. We consider applications carefully and will meet with qualifying candidates.

Costumes and Props
Please contact us to schedule a pick-up or delivery of costume and prop donations. We accept items in good usable condition, whether from other local theaters or items around your home.
Playbill Advertising - Make Our Patrons Your Patrons
We welcome local businesses or family members of cast members to submit an ad in our playbill. Program advertising is a great way to support your local theatre arts community while gaining the attention of hundreds of audience members for your product or service.

A clearly scanned business card or artwork in PDF or JPG format is acceptable. Ad submissions should be sent with your completed ad form and check. Please email Ellen at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Please note that we reserve the right to reject any advertisement from inappropriate sources (i.e, Pornography, Hate Groups, Political Statements, etc.).
